Dean Shaw Dean is responsible for identifying and activating the strategic direction of The Harridge Group, in addition to managing the day to day operations. Dean acts as a conduit between the client and the financial advice team to ensure a bespoke strategy is delivered.

Professional History:

Before co-founding The Harridge Group in 2007, Dean held multiple senior management positions in Local Government, Wholesale Finance, Insurance, and Building & Construction. Dean started his career in local government. While at the City of Heidelberg, he recommended that the Council undertake a development project (beyond the stakeholders’ original scope) for its Art Deco Municipal Centre, to create a commercially viable entertainment and convention complex. Upon completion of the project Dean was appointed Director and was responsible for the management and profitability of this business. In the mid 80’s Dean was appointed Sales & Marketing Manager of AAMI Ltd. Dean moved into Wholesale Finance in 1989 where he managed funding arrangements for major business organisations. In 1995 Dean headed up a major Commercial Consulting & Contracting firm within the construction sector. Dean successfully managed and expanded this business.
